Young-ish Adult Bible Study (YABS)
Young-ish Adult Bible Study (YABS for short!)
The "Young-ish" Adult group is an eclectic mix of 20 to 40-something men and women. We have married couples, dating couples, and singles, with and without kids. We're a variety pack of the best kind, the kind that likes to be together, have fun, and support each other as Christian friends.
We meet twice a month, (except in December) on the second Saturday and fourth Sunday of the month. The Saturday is a fellowship evening, where we go out to dinner or to an activity. The Sunday is a Bible study. Currently we are using Philip Yancey's study on grace.
The YABS also occasionally does service projects, like serving BBQ to the needy (which raised $2,000 for Inman Christian Center), and remodeling the Youth room. Our common bond is their love of life and church family. We extend an invitation to anyone who would like to join us. For more information, email Jenny Gray at jgray411@sbcglobal.net .
