We are so glad you have found us here on the web! I invite you to browse through this site and get to know us. In the Bible there’s a story about how Jesus invited people to follow him. When they asked him about how they could be his followers he said, “Come and see.”

After you’ve gotten to know us virtually, we hope you’ll come see us in person. Central Christian Church was established in 1883 near downtown San Antonio. Even though we may have changed in a lot of ways over the years, one thing has always been true. We celebrate Jesus Christ as our Lord, God and Savior. That will never change. You can find a real relationship with Jesus Christ here. Come and see!

One of the things my wife, Denise, and I found out right away after coming to Central in 2007 is that you can find friends here. Central Christian is a great church full of warm, loving, fun people. We have folks of all ages and backgrounds. Each day we are growing to more fully reflect the San Antonio community. There are people here just like you. There are many opportunities for socializing, fellowship, and spiritual growth here. There are classes, fellowship groups and ministries of all sorts for all ages.

About 40 percent of our people are under age 45, 40 percent are over 65, and the rest are in-between and children. I’ll tell you about our kids in the next paragraph. Our people are dynamic, friendly and wanting to meet you! You’ll fit right in. Why not come and see?

We’ve been working faithfully to build up our children and youth ministries. In 2007 we might have had 5 or 6 kids on a Sunday morning. Now most Sundays we have well over 20 in Sunday School and Children’s Church. Sometimes there are 40 or more! At our Easter, Vacation Bible School and Fall Festival events we have nearly 100 kids. We love kids at Central!
